CS-v4 WEp2:Indoor water use reduction

CHANGING FIXTURES IN THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Hi everybody

We are in the construction phase of a project and the design phase has been already reviewed by USGBC

The general contractor is proposing changes in the indoor plumbing fixtures. The proposed fixtures will be LEED compliant, of course

I would like to know if it’s possible to make these changes in the construction phase, with the involved credits and prerequisite  considered as Approved  within the design phase revision.

In these situation how do we proceed?. Can we “open again the credits and send the new form and information during the construction submittal?.  If that’s possible I suppose the project will incur in associated fees.

Thanks in advance

Hi Belen, Yes, we have submitted revised design information along with the construction submittal in the past. And yes you would Attempt the credit again, make the changes to the Prereq and mark them Ready for Review again. This can happen when you have a Split Review situation. There shouldn't be any additional cost unless you already made the construction submittal.
