We will have cogeneration onsite. Do the credit requirements apply to all electricity used onsite, or only that which is purchased from the grid?

NC-v4 EAc7:Green power and carbon offsets

DES Path 1

The Reference Guide at p. 460 states:

"For any projects using energy model Path 1, green power and offsets used in a DES do not contribute toward the credit for connected building".

I understand that in that case the DES relative to district heating shall not be considered in Table: Green power and carbon offsets.

Shall the purchased district heat be considered in Table: Annual non-electric energy consumption?

Under Path 1 the district heat would still need to be included in the offset purchase by the project. That sentence refers to the green power and offsets within the DES itself.
