What counts as building FAR?

I know that parking garages don't count, but can use types such as tennis courts and sports fields counts as total building area? If it were an enclosed tennis court I assume it would, just wondering about open courts and fields. Thanks!

Hi Leilanie, I would not count sports fields or tennis courts as part of the building area. If it were totally enclosed, yes, I'd agree, but not for open areas.
