WS 2018--Financial Literacy

Financial literacy and speaking with clients on their terms. Guiding Questions:

  • Anyone have success stories?
  • How do the financial considerations differ for developer work vs. institutional work vs. non-profit work vs. publicly funded work?
  • What resources are available to assist?
  • How have others talked to clients about costs?
  • What has been the most effective way to speak to this?
  • What are others doing to sell 'above code' features to privately funded multi-family developer clients?
  • How have other people have successfully brought clients on board to try new strategies and push boundaries?
  • What are the quick and easy tools to ensure shorter payback for sustainable design strategies that might add to first cost?

And one more sheet, with the notes from the Role Play that Anica set up. Wish I was there for that!
