EBOM-2009 SSc6:Stormwater Quantity Control

Where do you find the "Mitigated Design Storm Rainfall Volume" for the entire site (cu ft)?

For Miami-Dade County, FL.

In the SSc6 form, where do I find the "Mitigated design rainfall volume for the entire site (cu ft)?  In the building

plans?  Where in the building plans, because it doesn't say it under "Drainage Notes" for Site on the Bldg. Plans.

Hi Bryan,  If your stormwater mitigation strategy is limited to infiltration of stormwater through onsite vegetation, you can skip the Mitigated design rainfall volume for the entire site (cu ft) input. In that case select the "Full Documentation Path" and "stormwater management calculator will be completed" options on the form and then fill out the form calculator to determine the savings.  Otherwise, if your site has another type of stormwater such as retention, detention, bioswales, or other, you'll need to have an engineer or other technical expert prepare calculations. This may have been done during the design and construction process of the building site and if so, probably would have been delivered in a separate stormwater management assessment from the building plan set.
