NC-v4 WEc3:Cooling tower water use

Recycled non-potable water measurement

Our intention is to reuse stormwater and condensate for at least 20% of the make-up water for the Cooling Tower. The LEED Reference Guide and Form do not indicate if the % should be measured annually or during the month of peak demand. If anyone knows which we should use for documentation, please comment.

I would assume that the 20% threshold would be based on the annual cooling tower water use. But, it might be worth while to confirm with USGBC before finalizing the strategy. I checked the credit form and it looks like detailed calculations to demonstrate that the 20% threshold is met, are not currently required.
