Dear LEED Experts,
We are working on a LEED V4 New Construction and Major Renovation (industrial) project as LEED consultant. On access to quality transit credit, we have counted no trips made by rideshare vehicle during 24 hours in 5 days for credit compliance though our project is 8 hours operating building. Now the query is
Should we include trips made by rideshare vehicles during non operation hours (Remaining 16 hours) on no of trips count?
or Should
Thanks & Regards,
DRS

Hi Dhanarasu K,
Where do you see the rule that you cannot include rideshare rides during the work week? After checking the Reference Guide, it appears that you should be able to count rideshare trips made during operational hours, as long as the rideshare pick up stop is within 0.25 miles from the project site. You can include all rideshare trips that the vehicle makes during the day/night, whether it be during operaional hours or after hours.
Similarly, if a bus route was within 0.25 miles of the site, you could count all the bus rides that leave from that stop regardless of the time of day.
I hope this helps!
