Hi.
"Design or locate the project such that a functional entry or bicycle storage is within a 200-yard (180-meter) walking distance or bicycling distance from a bicycle network"
For a project (office/commercial) where the main entrances and several functional entraces are within 180 m from the bike network, but the occupants bike storage is placed in a parking basement underneath the office (more than 180 from the public bike network since you have to bike through the parking basement, but right next to the elevator leading up to the office), are we then meeting the requirements?
Kind regards, Lise

Hi Lise,
Since the credit language for distance to a bicycle network states "functional entry OR bicycle storage," and you have met that requirement with your funtional entrances, that should meet compliance. Note that in addition to this, for all project types, short and long term bike storage must be located within 100 feet (30 m) of main/functional entrances. As long as your distance from the main/functional entrance of the building to your actual bike storage (through the parking basement) is less than 100 feet, you will comply.
