NC-v4 WEc2:Indoor water use reduction

Greywater reused for technical washings

We are involved in the LEED certification of a building that will be used by a gardening company. Gardeners will take shower in the building (about 100 showers/day) and trucks will be washed in an outdoor area inside the site boundary. Showers and trucks washings will be, by far, the most relevant water uses in this building.

A greywater recycle system will be designed to recover water from the showers to be reused for trucks washing, flushing systems and irrigation, leading to massive water savings. However, I cannot find a way to valorize this strategy for LEED certification because technical washings are not included in the eligible water uses. Can you please provide me guidance on this subject (i.e., is there a way to enhance WE credit's performance with this measure or should I submit it in Inovation and Design)?

Pedro - IMO this would be an innovation and design credit item. Because it is outside the norm of a typical LEED building that type of reuse doesn't fit nicely into any WE credits.
