Hi all, does anyone have any reference to USGBC guidance or experience in modeling CHP when it is electricity lead not thermal lead? 

I was under the impression that for LEED you should treat it as being thermally led (E.g you can't offset electricity in your builidng if you are not also using the waste heat (you are duming the waste heat and using it as a generator).   However i cannot find a source for this and therefoe i am leaning towards modeling it as will operate in reality (which also includes exporting to the grid but this appears to be addressed here as process electricity where you account for the fuel input as a process in both proposed and baseline)
