Basement renovation to a LEED Platinum Building

How do you go about a renovation in a LEED Plaitnum building? Do you have to do a recertification or another process. Theay are renovating 1 floor and I'm not sure the approach I need to take

Hi Faith, apologies for the delayed reply! LEED-NC certifications do not expire - you can complete a basement renovation and it will not impact your original LEED-NC award. The LEED for Commercial Interiors rating system could be a good option for you if you want to certify that renovation project separately.
