NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Equipment as per table 6.8.1.A 90.1-2007

Greetings, In the project we are modeling, there are air conditioners which are supposed to operate in cooling mode at OA temperature close to the design heating OA. In this table and also in other tables 6.8 we didn't find such equipment. Is this means that such equipment are not regulated and if so, should they be entered identically in Proposed and in Baseline and if not, what kind of equipment are to be entered in the Baseline You advice I highly appreciated as always. Thanks.

If the proposed equipment is not covered in any of the 6.8.1 tables then it is not regulated so you do not have a mandatory provision for minimum efficiency. You still model the proposed as designed and the baseline according to Appendix G. It is not modeled identically.
