Water heat pump

Hi, We received the design and construction review, and the reviewer indicate us that two units that's appear on the prerrequisite EAp3 documentation are not included. These units are two heat pumps for the heat water system. Should be included these units or we need to specify that the units not apply for this credit? if the water heat pumps must be included we could use the heating capacity instead the cooling capacity in the equation of this credit? The manufacturer in the technical spreadsheet only specify the heating capacity. Thank you in advance

Hi Angel, any equipment that contains over 0.5 lbs of refrigerant must be included in this credit. But, if these units don't have any refrigerant you can provide a narrative explaining this is the case and also remove them from EAp3. You could also provide manufacturer documentation confirming that the equipment doesn't use refrigerant, as additional back up documentation.
