The new prerequisite states "No once-through cooling with potable water for any equipment or appliances that reject heat". Does this exclude IDDE systems? These are common in dry climates like Colorado.

Hi MKK, Without knowing the specifics of your project, illicit discharge detection and elimination systems are not included in the scope of LEED v4 Indoor Water Use prerequisite requirements, so requirements for no once-through cooling with potable water for any equipment or appliances that reject heat are not applicable here.
