Dear Concern:- Is there any MERV filter requirement for IEQ PR 01 credit as per ASHRAE section 5.9 (is it mandatory) What are the Ez values should be used for below equipments????? 1.Fresh air fans 2.ERV 3.Heat recovery Wheels 4.Trated fresh air unit 5.Exhaust fans & Fresh air louvers at opposite side 6.AHU we cannot able to understand the terms given in ASHRAE 62.1, Table 6-2 please clarify whether the Ez is fully based/depend on supply air or fresh air(outside air)

Paragraph 5.9 Requires minimum of MERV-6 for any cooling coil. All of the equipment types that you listed can have multiple Ez values depending on delivery method and temperature. You need to look at Table 6-2 and determine which one fits. The only one with a constant Ez is #5. That would be 0.8.
