Data Sheet or Laboratory test report?

Hello, Do we need a laboratory test report to substantiate the SRI, or the Data Sheet by manufacturer is sufficient ?

Hi Samer, you can provide manufacturer documentation.

Hi, We have a project in Alula, were landscape team is using all natural material for paving. The team is not able to produce test report for the SRI values of the materials like natural stones existing on site, sand, gravels, boulders and rammed earth. Is there any alternative like RAl color card reflectivity values or other research papers providing SRI values of natural materials. Also since the intent of the credit is to reduce hardscape area and retain the existing terrain, since the project is using all existing material do we need to show SRI values.

Hi Anchal, I am not aware of any alternative documentation accepted for documentation. The intent of this credit is not necessarily to retain the existing terrain - retaining/restoring habitat is covered separately. This credit's intent is to minimize impacts on the surrounding environment occurring from hardscapes, specifically. Crushed, hard material reuse from the site has other good impacts, but without the reflectivity values, your project just may not be eligible to pursue this credit. It has happened on my projects, too.
