Homes-v4 EQp1:Ventilation

ERV

Has anyone installed an ERV ventilation system? Does it need to be Energy Star certified or this requirement is only for extractors?

As ERVs/HRVs are some of the most efficient ventilation systems available, there isn't yet Energy Star labels. However, EnergyStar does provide guidance on ERV/HRV efficiencies: https://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=new_specs.hrv_erv_spec Although this applies to HRV/ERVs sold in Canada, it may help with your search.
