Homes-v4 MRc2:Environmentally preferable products

Could you help me understand how the credit calculation works? I am not sure I understand it properly. There are three 0.5 point possibilities for option 1 but no description of points for option 2. Thanks in advance.

Jean, For Option 2, All component categories (Floor Covering, Insulation, Sheathing, Framing, Drywall, Concrete, Roofing, Siding etc.) are worth 1 point, except "Flooring" which is worth 2 points.
