EBOM-2009 SSc2:Building Exterior and Hardscape Management Plan

Innovation Credit Asphalt?

I'm using this credit for an Innovation in Design point for a new building/major renovation. The contractor's LEED consultant has told us we need to include low VOC asphalt for the changes to the parking lot we are making during construction. Is this true? Is asphalt included, or is this credit just focused on the cleaning and maintenance of hard surfaces?

Nope, the SSc2 plan doesn't cover the attributes of new asphalt. It does include VOC limits for paints and sealants used on the building exterior, but asphalt is outside the scope of the plan.
