Composting

Are existing buildings that are not schools still able to get a points for composting food waste? Can it be included in the calculations of ongoing solid waste?

Food waste needs to be accounted for under this credit whether it goes to landfill or is composted. You don't get extra or separate points - it just gets accounted for under your ongoing waste calculations. Food purchases under MRc1 are what's treated differently in v4 versus 2009.
