Regulated vs. Unregulated??

I'm filling out the information from the energy model to the LEED v4 Minimum Performance Calculator and i noticed a check mark next to each end-use when filling out energy consumption and power demand that says either "regulated" or "unregulated". Do those choices for end-use mean their voltage is either regulated or not? Do those choices mean something else?

It means that that particular end use is either regulated by the standard or it is not regulated. Another term for regulated would be "addressed by". Receptacle equipment is not regulated for example. These loads are also referred to as process loads. Each of the major sections of the standard addresses certain loads like envelop, HVAC, lighting, service hot water, etc., those are regulated.
