CS-2009 IEQp1:Minimum IAQ Performance

Cold Shell compliance path

Hi all, I'm working on a cold dark shell project where the owner is NOT building out any HVAC systems (only plumbing); the tenant will install everything. How do we complete IEQp1 calculations if no HVAC system information is known? Is this something we can achieve by including in the lease only, or do we need to provide a sample 62MZ calculator with assumptions of what the tenant layout is and what kind of system they will install? Thanks

Hi Rita, We have certified many of these. It can be done either way. It can be part of lease requirements for the tenant, or you can use defaults and tenant assumptions.

Thanks Michelle! We have done it once for another project and were wondering why it was not questioned by the GBCI so maybe that's why - the TSLA was enough.
