Hi!,
I have one doubt with this rating system and how it applies to my case.
We want to certify a logistic centre, we choose this rating system because the interior fitting and the distribution of all the logistic are outside the scope of the design team.
This Logistic centre will have a main building and it will be connected with three silos for the unique purpose of storage clothes. These silos will be completely automatized so will be buildings regularly unoccupied (will be only occupied for the maintenance of the automatized equipment). The clothes silos are inside the leed boundary.
My question is the following: The envelope have to accomplish the minimums requirement of the ASHRAE 90.1-2010?

The envelop requirements are not mandatory so no project has to comply with the minimums.
You may be able to make the case that the silos are a process load so any energy use associated with them is modeled identically.
