NC-2009 IEQp1:Minimum IAQ Performance

Which Standard to use?

A WELL certification will be pursued and the project was registered to LEED v2009. IEQ Prerequisite 1 Option 1 will be in line with ASHRAE 62.1-2007. However, WELL Certification requires to comply with ASHRAE 62.1-2013. Can the latest version be acceptable for LEED requirement? Thank you.

In my opinion, you should not try to relate the two certifications. Just do the documentation for each one based on its referenced standard. LEED 2009 only requires 2007, so I'd just stick with what they know.

I agree with Andrew; however, recently a new “crosswalk” document was published to support the simultaneous application of the LEED Rating System credits and WELL Building Standard. It identifies which LEED credits earn which features (and vice versa). This could be useful for other credits of the rating system. The article and document can be found here: https://www.buildinggreen.com/news-analysis/new-report-helps-leverage-overlap-between-well-and-leed?utm_source=BuildingGreen.com+Mailing+List&utm_campaign=095e5de904-BGB_17_02_14_M2_14_2017&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_d558b0594a-095e5de904-157256217&mc_cid=095e5de904&mc_eid=b654fb0f7c
