I have a campus project in Wisconsin. University projects are generally walkable and try to continue a very pedestrian orientated feel. For this project achieving the requirements came fairly naturally, but understanding the way to document compliance was tough.
In particular, requirement number 8, with the maximum intervals between doors or windows, and limitations on how much can be solid. This requirement was a challenge to understand and it took a while for the design team to understand if the requirement was a linear foot or a square foot. If the limitations on length were singular or cumulative. This LEEDUser forum proved essential to understand how to document this credit.
