How can i calculate transit average trips for street car?
i asked the workers and people living in the area of the project and they mentioned that street car (for specific route) passes average between every 10 to 15 minutes meaning minimum 4 trips per hour , should i multiply the 4 trips by occupancy hours (4 *8) meaning 32 trips per day ? or should i multiply it by 24 hours ?
also according to LEED Interpretation ID# 10003

the hailing system can be counted towards the credit without a specified official stop , is this still available for v4 ?

Hi Soha,
You would take the hours the street car runs (if it runs 12 hours a day then do 4*8) and multiple by 4-6 (shuttle stops per hour) to get the total. Not by the 8 hour work days. As long as the shuttle runs during any hours of the day you can include that as a trip.
Not sure about the hailing system but i would assume you can use that still if the street car takes a trip by the "stop"
