We conducted a photometric analysis for a new building and complied with light trespass on all sides of the building except the south side, where the new building will abut an existing building with only separation between them being an outside stairway. Here, the LEED boundary is essentially the stairway between the buildings. Are there any exceptions for such a case where an adjacent abutting building will essentially block light trespass?
