Per GBCI, the Leed Reviewers are allowed to request a vertical calc grid if they are concerned about an area of the site. This is soley at the Reviewer's discression.

Schools v2007 shall be 5'x5' spacing while other projects are 10'x10' spacing from the ground to the highest light elevation.

Hopefully the Reviewer will tell you where they want the additional calculation done so you don't have to model every side of the site. Do your best to orient the view of that one side to make all vertical data points viewable. Provide a chart showing the maximum value.
