Frontage Width and Block Length

Hello, I would like to inquire about the frontage widths. If the buildings are not parallel to the road and are at an angle , would the frontage width be the length of the actual building front ( as in perimeter) , or would it be the projected building width as seen from the road. Also the project we are working on is a master plan , and there is quite a bit of landscaping between the buildings, so would the block length exclude the landscaping areas or would they be included as this would affect the total qualifying block length percentage.
