The LEEDuser survey template asks for the occupant’s home zipcode. Some of our occupants won’t want to provide this sort of personal information. Do we have to collect this data?

The LEED Reference Guide says that the survey should not be announced in a way that might generate skewed responses or encourage unrepresentative behavior. We’ve been educating our occupants for several months on the LEED process. What should we do?

Hi, our building s located in Germany. We choosed Option 3 Approach 2. We ordered a company to do the survey. Our building has many entries and we have decided that in every main entry and in the access roads of the underground car parking a staff ot the survey company will give the survey to the employee. Do you think, that it is enough to comply to the LEED requirements?

Hi Hatice, as long as survey administrators are posted at every entrance to the building, including those from parking garages, you should meet the requirements.
