NC-2009 IEQc4.4:Low-Emitting Materials—Composite Wood and Agrifiber Products

No UF

Is the expression that a product contains "no UF" exactly the same as "no added UF"? In other words would omitting "added" impact on a products' declaration for compliance for IEQc4.4? Thank you.

The language may not be exactly the same, but omitting "added" should not impact compliance, as long as they have documentation. As noted, some woods have naturally occurring formaldehyde, so the credit does not address total UF content, just added UF.
