Like Melissa Merryweather, I am writing SSc9 Tenant Guidelines for a LEED v2009 C&S project, and now we are well past the line where any tnenat would have to pursue LEED-CI v4. How much detail do we need to go into regarding the applicability of the project's LEED virtues to a CI effort and the difference between v2009 and v4? ?

Hi:
I'm in the same case. What I did is that in the list of credits I refer from the requirements in v2009 complied by the base building and what the Interiors need to comply to v4. It's challenging and take a lot of time to compare both systems, but I think about what information I need if I'm the Project Director of the interiors. When the requirements are too long or complicated to explain I just pointed out that they should review in detail in the v4 Rating System and put the pdf of the RS in the appendix... I hope this helps!

Oh, I have the same problem now. Has anyone done the comparison? Like the previous tenant guideline template that LEED user had, but with version 2009 CS and v4 CI?

A few more months have passed...has anyone gotten any feedback on this from GBCI? It seems like a CS project that achieved v2009 site credits potentially may not be able to meet CI v4 thresholds for the fit out. I am assuming that we state that the corresponding v2009 CS credit has been met then outline the requirement for the corresponding LT credit? Any guidance would be appreciated. Is there a v4 template or sample of the CS v2009 > CI v4 floating out there? I am working through the document and will post if approved. Thanks

Amazingly, though I received an automatic reply that GBCI was dealing with my request, no one has replied to the actual query. We set the project aside while changes were being made as a result of cost cutting but I will need to know the answer soon and i'll be reposting my request. I'll let everyone know how they respond.

LEED-CS v2009 projects are welcome to reference the v4 ID+C Rating System and the v4 ID+C credits in their tenant guidelines, rather than referencing the LEED-CI v2009 Rating System and its credits.

We have used the same approach as Mauricio and on one project it was accepted.
