We are working on a project for a college campus in LEED V4. We have planters on the project that we will use and I was wondering where LEED sits on that. Looking through the reference guide it states nothing about planters, but I do not see why they wouldn't count. Can anyone else verify?

Hi Justin, The reference guide does not provide a clear answer here. However, because the reference guide does not mention it, and planters were allowed in v2009, I am assuming they would be allowed here as well. As long as you provide vegetation on 25% of the total open space using planters, gardens, etc, I believe this would qualify for the Open Space requirements. Hope this helps!
