Working on a new police station and trying to find a route to get SSc4.4 (LEED 2009). Anyone have any thoughts? We have public and secure parking which is for police vehicles only. Generally, the vehicles return for a short period for shift changes and then leave again. I know there was a CIR for a rental facility but I've not been able to find it.

Hi Joe, great question. I didn't have any luck finding applicable CIRs either. However, for SSc4.3, spaces for vehicles integral to the facilities process such as fleet or "inventory" vehicles can be excluded from calculations. It seems like you could treat police vehicles similarly, however, that is just my hunch. I'd contact GBCI to verify for sure as I imagine you'd want something more solid to go off of for these points.
