Pilot-Credits PC14:Walkable Streets

Campus

We are applying the pilot credit in a campus setting, where the primary façade fronts a pedestrian plaza, as opposed to street. Should we treat the plaza or pathway crosses parallel to the facade of the building as a non-motorized right-of-way? If it is 1:0.5 ratio, then we may not be able to achieve this based on the building height ratio. I suggest having an "other" category in the required eight features. This would help projects located in campus or other inherently walkable areas.

I'm working on a project with a similar unique situation. The building's "street address" façade fronts onto a dedicated public park. I would like to see a few exceptions pulled into this credit to allow for some flexibility. Perhaps the ratio can be set based on façade distance to property line where the building is not oriented to a main road.
