Was not able to find this information anywhere in the threads. I understand that the transaction areas and merchandise areas are considered multi occupant spaces, but do they need individual controls? For example... we have 3 cash registers in the transaction area with an on/off switch for the group of 3. Individual lighting control does not exist for each of the 3 individuals. Are there some examples of people succeeding with transaction areas? Was wondering if we would be able to consider the general lighting from the merchandise area and the display track lighting that exists around the merchandise area for some lighting.

In the merchandise area there are two lights. Again the general lighting throughout the area and track lighting for the display on the walls. These each have an on/off switch, but thats it. What exactly is needed to meet the LEED requirement for IEQc6.1?

Why do the cash register area need individual lighting control as a multi occupant space? Can it not just be a group lighting? What are your opinions?
