Since this is a C&S project, we need estimates for expected volume of recycling. Can you provide any guidance on where to find case studies or historical data or similar buildings?

Hi Jason. My favorite resource is from CalRecycle - they have a robust database that supports many different project typologies. https://www2.calrecycle.ca.gov/WasteCharacterization/General/Rates This can help you estimate total waste generation by SF of building type. Please note that this is typically broken down for projects in California by region/county but it should work to help estimate total waste generation. Then, if your project is in California, you may use the actual breakdown by waste type for estimates for recycling vs. compost, etc. And if you are not in California, you can use the EPA percentages from the Reference guide.
