Multistorey car park

We have a block including three buildings: 2 office buildings and a multistorey car park. We are looking at option 1. Both the office buildings have the required east-west orientation, while the multistorey car park is north-south. Am I right in excluding the multistorey car park as it is not a conditioned building and therefore doesn't really benefit from the east-west orientation?

Elena, Option 1 is for block orientation, so I think you mean Option 2 for buildings. And you're correct about excluding parking structures because Option 2 states that "unconditioned spaces, such as garages...cannot contribute to credit achievement." Eliot
