open grid paving and gravel

What qualifies as "open grid paving"? Can a gravel bed designed to be 50% pervious qualify as "open grid paving"? Thanks

Hi Erin, The LEEDv4 Reference Guide defines Open grid systems as "pavements that consist of loose substrates supported by a grid of a more structurally sound grid or webbing." I am not sure how a gravel bed would qualify as an open grid pavement system. For this credit, the gravel will need to meet the SRI requirements specified in the credit language.
