My Massachusetts school project is restoring a large area and considering No Mow grass. Will this be considered as a monoculture like turf grass, or a meadow?

This certainly seems plausible, as long as it meets the native/adaptive criteria. That said, even meadows have a diversity of species of grasses and other vegetation. Would the project owner consider additional native/adaptive species?
