Carpool trips for visitors?

Hello, According to Equation 7 in the v4 O+M reference guide, the calculation of alternative transportation trips by visitors does not include “carpool trips”. Equation 7 in the v4 O+M reference guide: Alternative transportation trips by visitors = Trips walking + Trips bicycling + Trips via other human powered conveyances + Trips Via public transit + Trips via green vehicles Many visitors for this project are group visitors, such as student field trips. They usually come to the project site via rental tour bus. Could we consider this as “carpool” trips? And could we add this item into Equation 7? Thanks for any help!

Hi Poyu, it does look like carpooling isn't considered alternative transit for visitors, according to table 4 in the Reference Guide. However, I think in this case you could consider the tour bus to be a form of public transit, rather than a carpool.
