We have both space cooling and in rack chilled water cooling for computers. I wonder if the in-rack cooling is considered as process load or not. The chilled water comes from a chiller that condition the space as well. Since this is a small data center, per AppG, it does not need a chiller in baseline. So I wonder how would I consider the in-rack cooling if it is not a process load. Thanks!

The portion of the system specific to cooling the equipment is a process load. The cooling for the space is not.

Thanks Marcus. Can we claim any savings on the computer cooling by using high efficiency chillers? The reasoning being the standard chiller efficiency is 90.1 and we exceed those thus we can claim some savings.
