pc14 for Historic School building in urban context

We were inspired to test out this credit because of the huge increase in students walking to school after we completed a full renovation of a historic school in North Adams, MA. Close collaboration with the city, which improved the street crossings throughout the neighborhood as well as the reorientation of the front entrance to create a fully accessible approach has led to significant increase in the percent of students who walk to school. This credit is well constructed and applies nicely to our project's parameters.
