We have a number of LEED projects in infill locations in Ireland. Since we don't really have a standard code for site Erosion and Sedimentation we have to stick to the U.S. EPA's CGP. Most of the requirements (inlet protection, dust prevention, etc.) are standard practice here, but I have never seen perimeter protection of any kind in this type of projects here. Is the perimeter erosion/sedimentation protection (i.e. silt fences) a must in projects at infill locations in the U.S.? Thanks very much.
