Has anyone pursued this credit on a LEED for Homes Multifamily Midrise v2010 project? Or ID+C v2009?
IPpc90 Social Equity within the Project Team is a straightforward credit for team members that have a JUST label - one more reason for teams to explore http://justorganizations.com/
The pilot credit process is clear for typical BD+C (NC, CS, etc) projects. However, the registration process could be streamlined for teams pursuing other rating systems such as LEED for Homes Multifamily Midrise v2010 (or as the USGBC pilot credit registration page http://www.usgbc.org/pilot-credit-registration calls it, “LEED BD+C Multifamily Midrise”) We are checking with our LEED for Homes Provider, but anticipate this will be a typical credit to pursue on most LEED projects (residential mid- and high-rise, commercial NC and CS, mixed-use projects, new construction as well as major renovations).

Good news - USGBC has accepted IPpc90 Social Equity within the Project Team for a LEED for Homes Multifamily Midrise v2010 project (using Option 2, Design Team’s JUST label)
The IPpc90 registration process for LEED-H MMR is not finalized. Until then, teams will need to 1) document, 2) participate in the LEEDuser forum, 3) fill out the survey, and 4) send to the LEED for Homes Provider. The Provider will transmit items to USGBC and USGBC’s official approval via email will be referenced during the final certification review.

One of our ID+C project is pursuing Option 2 of this Pilot credit as well. Application process is similar, 1) register for the Pilot credit, 2) participate in the LEEDuser forum, 3) fill out the survey, and 4) submit for review.
