SRI Value from the Test Certificate

Hello, Whenever we receive a SRI paint test certificate as per ASTM E1980 standard, the SRI values are tested at 3 different wind conditions. We are unclear as to how to select the appropriate SRI value for that particular paint. E.g. Low - 35, Medium - 76, High - 94. Since at High Wind the SRI value is 94, does this mean the paint still qualifies as meeting the LEED requirement of 78?

Hi Nandana, I am not sure but previous threads have suggested contacting the manufacturer directly to ask or perhaps using an average of the three. I'd also recommend double checking interpretations for any possible information.

Dear Ms. Marilyn, Thank you for your kind response. However, we have got a technical clarification from LEED that we need to use the 'medium values' only while considering the SRI from test certificate. Regards Nandana

Hi Nandana,   We are facing a similar issue on our project. Can you please share the details of this tecnical clarificaation? Is this available in the public domain? Could you also guide on how to initiate a technical clarification for the same?
