Question: Have we any new updates or additional guidance on what certification that Div 9 (finishes) materials should achieve?

Credit language is clear that Div9 and Div 12 must be totaled together for demonstration of compliance but the language for what Div 9 complies hasn't been updated or still just refers to "Other USGBC approved multi-attribute certification programs" --- Can we assume that the language in LEED v4 credit of similar nature provides guidance?

Credit language also seems to indicate that "If compliant products are limited to only one CSI division, project teams are permitted to account for costs in that single division" -- This would seem that one could exclude either Div 9 or Div 12 if the compliant materials were isolated to either of the other. Has anyone been successful in excluding one or the other? And since Div 12 clearly has Level certification...I guess this translates to "Has anyone excluded Div 9 and been successful"?

Lastly -- Has anyone had success with a submittal that does not have five (5) items? We have only 3 items in Div 12 and they are all level certified, but that is all of the materials we have. Would this disqualify us from demonstrating compliance??
