I'm having trouble deciding what to mark for the first item in the form: Occupant Type.
My project is a hotel new construction. I was thinking of checking the box for "Other:" and writing in "Hotel". I was also considering checking boxes for 'mixed occupancy' and/or 'residential'.
Could anyone advise me on this matter?

Akshat,
it should be "lodging" - there are a couple of options for lodging; select the one most appropriate for your hotel project.
If you are completing the Table PIf3-1, make sure the project is broken up into the different space usages - e.g., lodging (for the guestrooms), public assembly for the convention spaces, offices, etc.
Good luck!

Thank you Deborah, I appreciate your tips.
Just to be clear, the question I was having some confusion with is the first item in PI Form 3. I'm presented with options for Occupent type (select all that apply): US Federal Agency, Individual, Local Government, State Government, Mixed Occupancy, Residential, Non-profit Organization, Profit Organization, and Other.
What you're saying is that I should only check the box for "Other" and fill the box with the term "Lodging". Do I have that right?
Then for the next field 'Principal project building activity', I should select "Lodging: Hotel/Motel/Resort, Select Service".

Akshat -
Confusion - I thought you were referring to lower down the form.
The first item should be "profit organization" - the hotel is a business correct?
