Chain of Custody (COC) - Direct Delivery to Site

We are procuring noggings that are FSC certified. The vendor doesn't have chain of custody certification. However, can we comply with this credit if we get the noggings delivered straight to site? We are using the LEED v3 CI. Thanks

Make arrangements with your vendor so that the invoice you receive for the noggings shows the FSC claim. This means the producer of the FSC noggings should invoice you directly for the material. Your vendor will act as the middle man between you (the end user) and the FSC producer and will receive his share of the commission from the producer after the invoice is paid. Because you are the end user in this scenario you can have the material delivered wherever you choose. Hope this makes sense! Have a great day!
