Hello we are working on a rehabilitation project for a small hotel being developed in an existing historic building in Quito, Ecuador. The building dates from the 1890 and we will be preserving the shell, structure and partitions but all the systems, finishes and equipment are being designed and specified as if it were a new building. Can this project be registered and certified under New Construction?, I would think it could.
